Please consider supporting my fundraiser for LACLJ's 2024 Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence is a cause that is personally important to me. 💜💜💜  It began in college when domestice violence awareness was my sorority's chosen philanthropy, and our Alpha Chi Omega chapter raised funds and engaged in community outreach all year, but particularly in the month of October.  In 2015, one of my college friends and sorority sisters was killed in what was essentially initimate partner violence.  I now am grateful to serve on the board of directors for the LA Center for Law and Justice (now Survivor Justice Center) to work to ensure justice for survivors in Los Angeles and beyond.

Domestic violence is a pattern of abuse, power and control over a partner resulting in psychological trauma, physical injury or even death. Serving the community for over 50 years, the Center helps survivors take back control of their lives by providing free legal representation and support in and outside of the courtroom. With your support, we can help survivors reclaim their lives free from violence and on a path towards safety and stability.
