LACLJ does critical work representing survivors of interpersonal violence—working together to obtain lawful immigration status and orders of protection, ensuring they understand their rights, and generally supporting them to become more empowered and thrive. Your donation ensures that this underserved community obtains legal representation to reclaim their lives free from violence. Please give what you can during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Thanks so much!
Domestic violence is a pattern of abuse, power and control over a partner resulting in psychological trauma, physical injury or even death. Serving the community for over 50 years, the Center helps survivors take back control of their lives by providing free legal representation and support in and outside of the courtroom. With your support, we can help survivors reclaim their lives free from violence and on a path towards safety and stability.
