Helping survivors of domestic violence is a cause that I have supported my entire legal career, first as an attorney liaison between Survivor Justice Center and Latham & Watkins and now as a board member of Survivor Justice Center. Survivors of domestic violence in our community face numerous obstacles when trying to escape abusive situations, that's why it's crucial to support organizations like the Survivor Justice Center, which provides vital assistance to those affected by domestic violence. This October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, my goal is to raise $1,500 for this important cause. Please join me in supporting this critical work. Domestic violence is a pattern of abuse, power and control over a partner resulting in psychological trauma, physical injury or even death. Serving the community for over 50 years, the Center helps survivors take back control of their lives by providing free legal representation and support in and outside of the courtroom.
